- that they open the proposed rules to public hearings.

I'm never believing you guys again about blog vacations. Admittedly an important reason to come back, but still!
This new low of the administration is mind-boggling, and has taken a chip away from my faith in humanity.
Yes, quite disturbing-- as if we haven't caused enough damage to the enviornment (and counteless other things) in the last 8 years. I would also strongly suggest contacting your local congress people. Politics really IS local, and if enough people voice their opinions to their representatives, we could see change. Your local politician will be more likley to take a stand than this president will alone IMO.
What bothers me is it doesn't seem to do any good to elect Demo's in congress- Pelosi and associates are just powerless to do anything to stop this evil man.
